Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 10 reviews.

Great companion piece to the Batman Who Laughs. A little lighter on the accessories front but what is included I think is good enough. The stand especially, really like that they have effects and not just a plain base. Sculpt, pose ability and paint as is the norm for Inart is absolutely brilliant. Looking forward to the next two from the Dark Nights Metal series.

Batman: The Red Death Action Figure

This is my first time purchasing an Inart figure from them, and I had very high expectations considering what I've heard about the figure itself and the team. I know about their 1/6th scale and how accurate and creative they look compared to the source material, whether it is a series or a movie. Knowing this, I was looking forward to seeing how they tackle the 1/12 scale and knowing the success of Arkham Origins Batman, I was excited. Firstly, I understand the criticism Inart had with their "1/12" scale, but with the Dark Knight metal line, I personally don't mind it and just imagine that my headcanon for them is that they are slightly taller, considering they are merged with Bruce Wayne (Red Death), for example. Secondly, regarding the engineering on this figure, I was greatly surprised to see the range of motion on such a small scale with the double-jointed knees and elbows. It can practically pull off any dynamic pose you can imagine. The accessories included with this figure match the character wonderfully, though I was hoping for some speedforce effects. Thirdly, the design itself: while the majority of the community heavily disliked it for Inart's stylised look, I am one of the few who loved the look of this piece, and I'm not hating on comic accuracy, but the slender look of the figure to the spine ridges on the back of it? Just beautiful sculpting and paint application. I'm also going to mention that, from Inart's website description it they include that the "Batmobile-Inspired Design", which was exactly what they were trying to capture and have done so masterfully, as you can see the almost mechanical look on the figure, like the Red Death; it's almost robotic in design but still human. Final takes: I am overall very happy with this figure and couldn't be more glad with my purchase, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else Inart can conjure within their 1/12 line.
