Beyond the Likeness
Capturing Paul Atreides as he appears in Dune: Part One required more than simply recreating his likeness. Every element of the head sculpt—from his facial structure and expression to the finest surface details was carefully considered to convey the character’s distinctive presence on screen.
Studying Every Detail
The development process began with an in-depth study of film stills and official reference materials, alongside photographs of the actor from a multitude of angles. These references allowed our artists to examine subtle details that might otherwise be overlooked in order to capture and translate them accurately into sixth scale.
Refining the Sculpt
Multiple versions of the head sculpt were created throughout the process. Each iteration brought further refinements to the facial proportions, contours and expression, gradually moving closer to the final result. This continuous process of sculpting, reviewing and adjustment reflects our commitment to authenticity and top tier craftsmanship.
